Reports To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager
The Carpenter will construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. The role requires precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards on all job sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Install doors, windows, cabinets, frameworks, floors, and other wood structures.
Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fittings.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Inspect and ensure quality and accuracy in all carpentry work.
Collaborate with other construction professionals (masons, electricians, plumbers, etc.).
Follow all safety and health regulations at the worksite.
Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role in construction.
Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Physical strength, stamina, and attention to detail.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or certification in carpentry (preferred).
Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on carpentry experience.
