Job Title: Key Account Manager – Apprenticeship & Industry Partnerships Locations: Thane | Pune | Nashik | Aurangabad | Nagpur (2 positions per location) Job Summary We are seeking experienced, field-oriented Key Account Managers to lead industry outreach, client acquisition, and long-term account management across Maharashtra. This role is central to scaling our apprenticeship, skilling, and compliance-led solutions by engaging with industries, government bodies, and industry associations at district and regional levels. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Identify, approach, and onboard companies across assigned districts and regions. • Visit prospective and existing clients to pitch apprenticeship management solutions. • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate apprenticeship models. • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and presentations; follow up and close deals. • Build and manage strong relationships with CXOs, HR Heads, Admin, and Plant Heads. • Achieve defined monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets. Key Account Management & Client Onboarding • Own assigned client accounts post-closure as a single point of contact. • Collect, verify, and coordinate establishment-level documentation from client organizations. • Initiate and coordinate establishment registrations on NAPS, NATS, and Learn & Earn portals. • Ensure seamless onboarding and transition from sales to execution. Apprenticeship Execution Support • Support initiation of apprentice and candidate registrations on apprenticeship portals. • Assist clients with apprentice onboarding, documentation, and compliance adherence. • Ensure timely follow-ups and resolution of issues related to registrations, compliance. • Coordinate internally with compliance, payroll, recruitment, and operations teams. Government Liaison & Institutional Coordination • Liaise with the Directorate of Industries, District Industries Centres (DICs), MIDC offices, Skill Development departments, and other relevant government bodies. • Support district-level and regional initiatives aligned with apprenticeship, employment, and skill development programs. • Facilitate collaborations between government bodies and industry partners. Industry Associations & Ecosystem Engagement • Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, and chambers of commerce. • Plan and participate in awareness workshops, seminars, conferences, job fairs, and events. • Represent the organization at regional and district-level forums. Market Intelligence & Reporting • Track regional industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. • Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, and regular MIS reporting. • Provide structured market and operational feedback for strategy refinement. Candidate Profile & Preferred Background • Experience in Apprenticeship, Skilling, Staffing, HR Services, Compliance, or Education. • Professionals from B2B staffing, HR consulting, compliance services, institutional or government-linked sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Key Skills & Competencies • Strong B2B sales, negotiation, and deal-closure capabilities. • Proven experience in field-based business development and key account management. • Ability to engage effectively with government officials and senior industry stakeholders. • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field. • Strong coordination skills across internal teams and external partners. • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic reporting systems. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field. • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred. • 5–12 years of relevant experience in B2B business development, key account management, or institutional sales.
