Job Summary:

NetTech India is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Education Counselor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students in making informed decisions about their educational and career paths. You will play a key role in helping students choose suitable programs, supporting them through the admissions process, and ensuring they achieve their long-term career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their academic and career interests.

• Recommend suitable courses, programs, and certifications based on their goals and background.

• Explain course structures, prerequisites, and timelines clearly to students and parents.

2. Admissions Support

• Assist prospective students with the admissions process, including application, documentation, and enrollment.

• Conduct consultations and provide detailed program and career information.

• Track and follow up on student applications to ensure smooth onboarding.

3. Career Counseling

• Guide students on industry trends, career pathways, and job opportunities related to their chosen field.

• Coordinate and promote career fairs, webinars, and placement support programs.

• Inform students about internships, certifications, and upskilling opportunities.

4. Administrative Duties

• Maintain updated student records and counseling logs.

• Generate reports on counseling performance, student feedback, and conversion data for management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Any Graduate (Bachelor’s degree required).

• Minimum 6 months – 2 years of experience in academic or career counseling, preferably in the education/training sector.

• Familiarity with course offerings, admission procedures, and career development processes.

Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving and listening abilities.

• Empathy and patience in dealing with students’ queries and challenges.

• Time management and multitasking abilities.

• A goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
