Operation Manager

We are looking for a Operation Manager- Oil & Gas for Mumbai Location Work from Home to join our team at at Radox Engineering Private Limited. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential clients to generate leads and drive sales growth.

• Present and promote products or services to prospective customers.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and motivate them to repeat business.

• Prepare and deliver sales pitches tailored to client needs.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities.

• Prepare reports on sales performance and client feedback.

Job Requirements:

To manage end-to-end import documentation and operational activities for lube oil consignments arriving at JNPT (Nhava Sheva), ensuring timely customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination with shipping lines, customs brokers, transporters, and port authorities.

A. Pre-Arrival Documentation

• Collect and verify documents from suppliers:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Packing List

  • Bill of Lading

  • Certificate of Origin

  • Insurance Certificate

  • Product specifications, MSDS, test certificates (for lubricants)

• Check HS codes, duty structure, and licensing requirements for lube oils.

• Ensure all documents are compliant with Indian Customs & DGFT rules.

  B. Customs Filing & Compliance

  • Coordinate with CHA for filing Bill of Entry (BoE) on ICEGATE.

  • Upload documents via e-Sanchit portal.

  • Assist in responding to customs queries, valuation clarifications, or classification issues.

  • Monitor status: Assessment → Examination → Duty Payment → Out of Charge (OOC).

            C. Port & Terminal Coordination (JNPT)

• Liaise with terminals (JNPCT, NSICT, GTI, BMCT, NSIGT) for container movement.

• Coordinate with shipping lines to obtain:

  • Delivery Order (DO)

  • Container Release

  • Charges settlement

• Follow up for vessel arrival, IGM filing, and container movement inside port.

  D. CFS / DPD Management

  Arrange cargo movement to CFS or via DPD (Direct Port Delivery) if applicable.Coordinate with CFS staff for de-stuffing, inspection, and cargo handling.Ensure proper sampling and quality checks where required.

  E. Duty, Charges & Billing

  Calculate and verify:Customs DutyIGSTPort charges / detention chargesCFS chargesTransportation ratesPrepare internal costing sheets and MIS reports.

  F. Regulatory Compliance

  Follow customs regulations for petroleum/lube products.Ensure compliance with:Customs ActDGFT guidelinesFSSAI (if applicable for additives)Pollution control norms (for hazardous classifications)

  G. Coordination & Communication

  Maintain communication with:SupplierCHAShipping lineTransportersPort terminal staffInternal purchase/logistics teamProvide daily updates on shipment tracking and clearance status.
