A fabrication laborer, also known as a fabricator, is responsible for transforming raw materials—mainly metals—into finished products by cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding components according to technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications. Their role involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of products, maintaining tools and equipment, and adhering to safety standards and production schedules.Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions to understand product requirements.
Select, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using hand tools, welding equipment, and machinery such as grinders, shears, and presses.
Align and fit components accurately, fastening them with screws, bolts, or welding techniques.
Conduct quality control by measuring dimensions, verifying specifications, and testing functionality of finished products.
Troubleshoot defects or malfunctions, performing repairs or reporting issues.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workspace and equipment, following safety protocols.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Operate and maintain heavy machinery, ensuring equipment efficiency and safety.
