Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Chiller Operator to manage, monitor, and maintain the operation of central air-conditioning plants and chiller systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and cooling towers, ensuring smooth and energy-efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor chiller plants, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and pumps as per standard operating procedures.

• Perform daily inspection and log readings of temperature, pressure, voltage, current, and other operating parameters.

• Conduct routine checks for leaks, vibrations, and unusual noises in HVAC equipment.

• Ensure optimal chiller performance and energy efficiency by monitoring system load and parameters.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Maintain accurate operation logs, maintenance records, and service reports.

• Check and maintain refrigerant levels, lubrication, and cooling tower water treatment.

• Respond promptly to breakdowns or alarm conditions and troubleshoot system faults.

• Follow safety standards and company protocols while handling mechanical and electrical components.

• Support technicians during major repairs or equipment overhauls.

Key Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience in centrifugal/screw/scroll chillers (Carrier, Trane, Daikin, Blue Star, etc.)

• Knowledge of HVAC plant operation and controls

• Understanding of BMS (Building Management Systems)

• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills

• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, pumps, and cooling tower operations

• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

• Good communication and record-keeping skills
