Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees (monthly/bi-weekly).

• Collect, verify, and maintain attendance, leave records, and timesheets.

• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, incentives, deductions, and overtime.

• Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, etc.

• Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies.

• Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for smooth payroll operations.

• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.

• Maintain payroll records in accordance with audit and regulatory standards.

• Stay updated with labor laws and ensure compliance with government regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of Form 16, salary slips, and tax declarations.

• Liaise with external vendors, such as payroll software providers or consultants.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing or HR operations.

• Strong understanding of payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, GreytHR, Zoho Payroll).

• Knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS systems.

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a mid-to-large organization.

• Certification in payroll management or labor laws is a plus.

• Familiarity with income tax rules and employee benefits.
