Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support the company’s financial decision-making process. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records (Tally/ERP/other software).

• Prepare financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.

• Monitor and control expenses with proper documentation.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Generate reports to assist in budgeting and forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (Master’s preferred).

• Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum 6months max 2 years fresher with tally certificate accepted.)

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, MS Excel, ERP systems).

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws.

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience in [your industry, e.g., manufacturing, trading, IT, etc.].

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
