Technical Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution:

  Develop and implement strategies for selling technical products and services, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving sales goals. 

• Client Relationship Management:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor on technical matters. 

• Technical Solutioning:

  Understand customer technical requirements and challenges, then present and tailor solutions that meet those needs. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with engineering, product development, and other internal departments to ensure solutions are feasible and customer feedback is integrated. 

• Sales Support:

  Lead product demonstrations, prepare technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. 

• Team Leadership:

  Manage, train, and motivate a sales team to maximize productivity and efficiency. 

• Market Analysis:

  Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technology advancements to identify new business opportunities. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the technical products or services being sold. 

• Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably with a focus on technical products and services. 

• Leadership & Management: Skills to lead, coach, and inspire a sales team. 

• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills for presenting technical information clearly. 

• Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex technical and sales challenges. 

• Business Acumen: Understanding of market dynamics and how to generate revenue and profit. 

• Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field.

• Meeting with clients to understand their needs and present solutions.

• Collaborating with engineers on technical aspects of proposals.

• Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations.

• Developing sales strategies and managing the sales team.

• Analyzing sales data and market trends.

• Negotiating contracts and closing deals.
