Senior Accountant

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

• Conduct account reconciliations and analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial information.

• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Ensure timely closing of the books and maintain general ledger integrity.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

• Liaise with external auditors during audits and support audit preparation.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.

• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.

• Stay up to date with accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification.

• Experience in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, tech, services].

• Knowledge of ERP system implementation or upgrades.
