Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor last-mile delivery operations for milk and dairy products.

• Manage daily route planning, delivery schedules, and vehicle allocation to ensure timely dispatches.

• Maintain cold chain management and ensure product quality during storage and transit.

• Supervise and coordinate with delivery executives, warehouse team, and transport vendors.

• Track inventory movement, ensure proper loading/unloading, and maintain dispatch records.

• Monitor delivery performance, delays, and customer feedback, and take corrective action when required.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and temperature control standards throughout operations.

• Optimize fleet utilization and route efficiency to reduce fuel costs and improve productivity.

• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams for smooth supply chain flow.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports and KPIs (delivery success rate, returns, wastage, etc.).

• Handle incidents, vehicle breakdowns, and emergency delivery requirements proactively.

• Manage third-party logistics partners and ensure service level adherence.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and last-mile delivery processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics/last-mile delivery (preferably in the dairy or FMCG industry).

• Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and perishables handling.

• Hands-on experience with route planning, fleet management, and logistics tracking systems.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and logistics management software.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, night-shift or early-morning operation environment.

Working Hours:

• Shift: Night / Early Morning (as per dairy operations schedule)

• Days: 6 days a week
