Maintaining up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, purchase details, and pricing.
Continuously tracking inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability and prevent overstocking or shortages.
Placing orders for new stock to meet demand and prevent stockouts.
Conducting periodic physical counts of inventory to verify accuracy of records.
Implementing and monitoring inventory control systems to optimize processes and minimize errors.
Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, or defects, and coordinate with suppliers or vendors.
Ensure all goods received match the purchase order (PO) and invoice.
Supervise the proper storage and labeling of items in the stockroom.
Manage dispatches and transfers to other locations or departments.
Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
Report stock variances and investigate the root cause (theft, damage, misplacement, etc.).
Prepare and submit inventory reports to management (daily/weekly/monthly).
