Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our educational institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records (Bookkeeping, Ledger entries, Bank Reconciliation, etc.)

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

• Handle fee collection records and ensure reconciliation with student databases

• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as per government regulations

• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and financial reviews

• Ensure timely payroll processing and related statutory compliances (PF, ESI, etc.)

• Monitor budgets and cash flows, and assist in financial planning

• Support management with financial data and reports for decision-making

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred)

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the education sector

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / QuickBooks / any other accounting software

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail

Working Days:

Monday to Saturday (as per institutional schedule)
