We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in inside sales,EdTech, andteam management to lead and grow our sales team. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue, building a high-performing team, and ensuring customer success. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the EdTech industry.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
Identify and prioritize sales opportunities in the EdTech sector.
Leverage inside sales techniques to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales representatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
Recruit and onboard top sales talent to expand the team as needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Ensure a customer-centric sales approach to address client needs and drive satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, etc.) to deliver tailored solutions.
Market & Industry Insights:
Stay updated on EdTech industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
Data-Driven Approach:
Analyze sales metrics and prepare detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines and workflows effectively.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 9+ years in a senior/managerial role.
Proven experience in inside sales and the EdTech industry is mandatory.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management experience, including coaching and developing team members.
Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse sales team.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Other Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
