Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in inside sales,EdTech, andteam management to lead and grow our sales team. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue, building a high-performing team, and ensuring customer success. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the EdTech industry.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.

    • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities in the EdTech sector.

    • Leverage inside sales techniques to drive customer acquisition and retention.

  1. Team Leadership & Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales representatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.

    • Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

    • Recruit and onboard top sales talent to expand the team as needed.

  1. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

    • Ensure a customer-centric sales approach to address client needs and drive satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, etc.) to deliver tailored solutions.

  1. Market & Industry Insights:

    • Stay updated on EdTech industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

    • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.

  1. Data-Driven Approach:

    • Analyze sales metrics and prepare detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

    • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines and workflows effectively.


Key Requirements

  • Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 9+ years in a senior/managerial role.

    • Proven experience in inside sales and the EdTech industry is mandatory.

    • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Leadership Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management experience, including coaching and developing team members.

    • Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse sales team.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

    • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Other Skills:

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
