Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with GST regulations, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling E-way bills, E-invoices, GST filing, and financial documentation for trading or fuel supply businesses.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally or accounting software.

• Record all purchase, sales, and expense entries accurately.

• Reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts.

• Manage petty cash and prepare daily transaction summaries.

✅ GST & Taxation

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on time.

• Generate and maintain E-Invoices as per GST norms.

• Create and track E-Way Bills for fuel transportation.

• Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.

• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits.

✅ Billing & Invoicing

• Generate tax invoices for sales of diesel, MHO, LDO, C9, and industrial fuels.

• Ensure correct HSN codes, GST rates, and buyer details on all invoices.

• Manage bulk customer accounts and payment follow-ups.

✅ Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheets.

• Assist management in budgeting and financial analysis.

• Maintain proper documentation for all statutory compliances.

✅ Compliance & Record Keeping

• Ensure timely submission of statutory returns.

• Maintain proper filing of all vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.

• Liaise with banks and government departments when required.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com).

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in fuel or trading sectors.

• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, Excel, and GST portal.

• Good knowledge of E-Invoice, E-Way Bill, GST compliance, and TDS.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and integrity.

Employment Details

• Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)

• Office Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

• Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
