Section 2 : Job Purpose:

We are seeking an Experienced, Talented Creative Textile Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of textile trends and techniques.

Section 3 : Principal Responsibilities :

 Design Development:

 Conceptualize and develop themes, concepts, mood boards after analysing trends for woven fabrics.

 Create original prints, patterns, and textures, incorporating a various techniques.

 Experiment with color palettes, materials, and finishes to achieve desired aesthetic effects.

 Trend & Fabric Analysis:

 Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion and textile trends by researching design platforms, industry publications, and analyzing market data.

 Identify emerging trends and translate them into innovative and marketable designs.

 Technical Expertise:

 Possess an understanding of textile production processes, including weaving, printing, and dyeing.

 Collaborate with technical teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and can be produced efficiently.

 Troubleshoot design and production issues, and implement solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

 Client Collaboration:

 Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.

 Present design concepts and prototypes effectively, and address client feedback and revisions.

 Build strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.

 Sample Creation:

 Create physical samples to showcase designs and communicate ideas effectively.

 Oversee the production of samples, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.

 Complete final collections seasonally & present it to the marketing team.

Education Background:

 Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

Experience:

 Required 4 - 8 years of proven experience in textile design, preferably in the woven Fabric Industry.

Technical Competencies:

 Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant design software.

 Excellent knowledge of textile materials, techniques, and production processes.

Behavioral Competencies:

 A keen eye for color, pattern, and texture.

 Strong creative problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Strong communication and presentation skills.

 A passion for design and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
