About the Role
We are hiring a senior E-commerce Strategist & Marketing Lead with a minimum of 5 years of experience
in scaling brands—preferably from inception or early growth stages. The ideal candidate understands
Amazon Vendor Central (VC), PO Models, Amazon Now, Flipkart Minutes, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and
Jiomart ecosystems. This role carries high ownership across marketplace growth, brand strategy, catalog
excellence, P&L; management, and negotiations.
Team Structure: This is an individual contributor role initially, with the opportunity to build and lead a team
as the function expands. You will also have the support of external teams and agencies for creative, catalog,
and performance marketing execution.
1. Strategy & Revenue Leadership
• Develop and execute e-commerce & quick-commerce strategies to drive revenue and market share.
• Own monthly and quarterly sales planning, forecasting, and target achievement.
• Develop launch plans for new SKUs including pricing, positioning, and content strategy.
• Improve search ranking, visibility, and conversion using structured growth levers and analytics.
2. Catalog, Content & Marketing Excellence
• Oversee listings—SEO titles, bullets, images, A+ content, brand storytelling.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams for creative assets and video content.
• Lead AMS strategy; manage Meta & Google ads with agency support.
• Manage influencers and campaign-driven visibility initiatives.
3. Operations, Inventory & Fulfilment
• Plan and execute promotional calendars including Prime Day, BBD, festive and payday cycles.
• Manage inventory flow, DOH, FC allocation, and replenishment cycles for quick commerce.
• Optimize fulfilment models including VC, Seller Flex, regional FCs and fast-lane listings.
4. Finance, P&L; & Negotiation
• Own marketplace P&L; including pricing, contributions, budgets, and margin decisions.
• Negotiate terms, visibility placements, PO structures, and marketing support with category teams.
• Track SKU-level profitability and conduct corrective actions to protect and grow margins.
• Maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners to drive category opportunities.
5. Systems, SOPs & Automation
• Build SOPs for catalog workflows, pricing, advertising, and reporting.
• Develop structured dashboards for weekly and monthly performance reviews.
• Identify automation opportunities for repetitive tasks in catalog, ads, or reporting.
Who Should Apply
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management or D2C roles.
• Strong experience with Amazon Vendor Central & PO model is mandatory.
• Exposure to quick-commerce platforms (Blinkit/Instamart/Minutes) preferred.
• Proven experience in scaling brands from inception or early-growth stages.
• Highly analytical, data-driven, strong negotiation and execution skills.
• Comfortable managing P&L;, pricing, and financial decisions related to marketplaces.
