Role Overview – What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Edit full-length YouTube documentaries (30–45 mins) in 16:9 cinematic style

2. Add motion graphics, maps, charts, dynamic infographics, subtitles, cutaways, and smooth transitions

3. Maintain story pacing with sound design, background scores, and scene flow

4. Collaborate with writers & creator for scene structuring and feedback loops

5. Use stock footage, news clips, archives, and licensed visuals creatively

6. Occasionally edit short vertical Reels from long-form content

7. Ensure consistency with brand visual style, color tones, fonts, and design language

Must-Have Skills:

1. Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop

2. Solid understanding of narrative storytelling & pacing

3. Ability to add dynamic titles, graphs, and visual metaphors

4. Attention to detail + efficient file organization

5. Great taste in sound design and music sync

Good to Have:

1. Experience with creators like Nitish Rajput, Dhruv Rathee, Johnny Harris, Vox, Curiosity Stream

2. Knowledge of motion graphics templates, lower-thirds, and transitions

3. Ability to create quick mockups for thumbnails or experiments

4. Passion for documentaries, storytelling, and world affairs
