ITI Technician (Diesel Engine Repair & Service)

### Key Responsibilities:

1. Engine Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of diesel engines used in generators, vehicles, or industrial equipment.

• Diagnose faults in fuel systems, cooling systems, exhaust, and lubrication parts.

2. Inspection & Testing:

• Inspect engines and components to identify issues.

• Use diagnostic tools to test engine performance and ensure proper operation after repair.

3. Component Replacement:

• Replace defective parts like filters, pistons, injectors, or bearings.

• Reassemble engines and test after repairs.

4. Preventive Maintenance:

• Carry out regular servicing as per schedule (oil change, filter cleaning, coolant check).

• Keep maintenance records and report potential issues early.

5. On-site Service Support:

• Visit client sites for breakdown repairs and emergency service calls.

• Provide feedback to the service manager after every visit.

6. Tools & Safety Handling:

• Properly handle tools, equipment, and diagnostic machines.

• Follow all safety and company protocols while working.

7. Documentation:

• Maintain service logs, job cards, and repair reports.

• Update service history of each engine or machine.

8. Customer Support:

• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to customers.

• Ensure timely completion of service work with customer satisfaction.
