Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Reports To: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef
Assist with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling, chopping, cutting vegetables, and marinating meats).
Follow recipes and instructions from the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and food items.
Prepare ingredients for cooking (mise en place).
Assist in preparing sauces, garnishes, and simple dishes under supervision.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
Support other kitchen sections as needed.
Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.
Help in cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils.
