Security Guard

Key Responsibilities:

1. Access Control:

   • Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.

   • Verify identity cards, gate passes, and maintain entry/exit registers.

2. Patrolling Duties:

   • Conduct routine foot patrols across all designated areas (offices, parking, boundary walls, etc.).

   • Check for unusual activity, security breaches, fire hazards, or equipment malfunctions.

3. Surveillance Monitoring:

   • Observe CCTV feeds and report any suspicious movements or unauthorized access.

   • Maintain constant alertness during assigned duty hours.

4. Incident Reporting:

   • Report thefts, accidents, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

   • Record all incidents in the daily security logbook.

5. Visitor Management:

   • Greet and guide visitors courteously while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.

   • Issue and collect visitor passes properly.

6. Emergency Response:

   • Act quickly in emergencies such as fire, medical issues, or evacuation.

   • Support the fire and safety team as required.

7. Asset Protection:

   • Safeguard company property, materials, and confidential information.

   • Prevent pilferage, vandalism, and unauthorized movement of goods.

8. Discipline & Appearance:

   • Maintain professional grooming and wear the prescribed uniform neatly.

   • Follow duty timings, code of conduct, and chain of command strictly.
