Security Guard

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, and property at our medical clinic. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and enforcing clinic policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas of the clinic to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety.

• Greet and screen visitors, patients, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.

• Enforce clinic access control policies, including visitor check-ins and badge requirements.

• Patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility on a regular basis.

• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations (e.g., medical, fire, security threats).

• Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents to appropriate personnel.

• Assist in handling disruptive patients or visitors in a calm and respectful manner.

• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.

• Keep accurate logs and write incident reports as required.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, especially in clinical settings.

• Support staff in escorting patients or employees to and from the building if needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Proven work experience as a security guard or in a similar role (preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting).

• Valid security guard license/certification as required by local regulations.

• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

• Strong observational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
