Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our team at Scaler. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, guiding aspiring tech professionals, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals while maintaining a consultative, learner-first approach.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential learners/clients to generate leads and drive sales growth.

  • Connect with potential learners via calls and guide them through career opportunities in tech.

  • Present and promote Scaler’s programs as tailored solutions aligned with their goals.

  • Understand learner career goals, pain points, and aspirations through consultative conversations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing learners to encourage enrollments.

  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with consistent follow-ups.

  • Prepare and deliver personalized sales pitches based on customer needs.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment/sales targets.

  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities within the ed-tech sector.

  • Prepare reports on sales performance, enrollment funnel, and learner feedback.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification:

    • UG: B.Tech (Tech), B.Com/BBA (Non-Tech)

    • PG: M.Tech (Tech), MBA (Marketing & Sales)

  • Preferred Experience: EdTech or a mix of EdTech & Non-EdTech sectors.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong negotiation skills and a customer-first, consultative-selling approach.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

  • Passion for sales, self-motivation, and a positive can-do attitude.
