Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal & Compliance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in corporate legal matters, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This role involves ensuring the company's adherence to legal and regulatory requirements while supporting business operations with legal insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Conduct legal research on CSR, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Support regulatory filings, licensing, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
Identify and mitigate legal risks across business operations.
Assist in policy development and implementation of compliance frameworks.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization.
Requirements:
LLB degree from a recognized university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate legal and compliance functions.
Strong knowledge of corporate laws, regulatory compliance, and contract law.
Experience working with regulatory authorities, legal documentation, and risk management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
