IT Support Specialist
Job Purpose:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals to ensure smooth IT operations. Troubleshoot issues, manage IT assets, maintain network connectivity, and support employee onboarding/offboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Support & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Perform regular maintenance, software updates, and performance checks
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- MS Office & Email Support
- Assist with MS Office applications and Outlook configuration
- Troubleshoot email syncing issues and mailbox access
- Server Room & Network Support
- Maintain server infrastructure and monitor performance
- Support LAN/WAN connectivity and internet access
- Coordinate with vendors for network-related concerns
- Security & Antivirus Management
- Install, update, and monitor antivirus software
- Conduct virus scans and ensure system security
- Report and resolve security risks or breaches
- Printer & Peripheral Support
- Set up and maintain network printers and peripherals
- Resolve connectivity or driver-related issues
- IT Asset Management
- Maintain IT Asset Register and update records
- Record issuance and return of IT assets
- Ensure returned equipment is inspected and ready for redeployment
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs of IT issues and resolutions
- Prepare periodic reports on IT support activities

Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or hardware/network maintenance
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent certification (preferred)
