About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and creatively driven Video Editor to join our team and bring visual storytelling to life across social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a strong understanding of social trends, and is always experimenting with new formats, styles, and tools, including AI. This role will collaborate closely with the content,design, and strategy teams to create engaging, on-brand video content that resonates with our audience and pushes creative boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
● Edit high-quality, platform-specific videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other digital
platforms
● Create video concepts and storyboards when required
● Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips for social media
● Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic and tone across all video content
● Stay up to date with trends in video editing, meme culture, music, formats, reels,and transitions
● Apply motion graphics, text animation, and VFX when needed
● Collaborate with content creators, social media managers, designers, and
strategists to bring campaign ideas to life
● Experiment with AI-based video tools and editing software to improve efficiencyand creativity
● Manage raw footage, file organisation, and delivery of final exports as per platformrequirements

Requirements
● 3+ years of experience in video editing for brands, agencies, or digital creators
● Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent video editing
software
● Familiarity with Canva, Editing Software, and AI video tools is a huge bonus
● Strong portfolio that showcases editing for social media (especially reels, shorts)
● Deep understanding of pacing, sound design, and transitions suited to Gen-Z and
millennial audiences
● Ability to work on tight timelines without compromising on quality
● Strong visual sense and eye for detail from frame selection to text placements
● Knowledge of basic colour correction and sound mixing
● Comfortable working in a collaborative and feedback-driven environment
Good to Have
● Experience working in the beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand space
● Basic knowledge of Instagram and YouTube algorithms and engagement metrics
● Photography, shooting, or direction experience
● Familiarity with AI voiceovers, image-to-video, or text-to-video tools
● Animation experience or basic illustration/graphic design background
