Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install fiber optic cables and related hardware in various locations, such as overhead, underground, in homes, or businesses.

Splicing and termination: Splice and terminate fiber optic cables by cleaving and recoating fibers and assembling closures.

Testing and quality assurance: Perform tests using equipment like power meters and OTDRs to ensure quality, find faults, and verify network performance.

Maintenance and repair: Conduct routine maintenance on existing infrastructure and repair damaged cables or equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve fiber optic cable issues to restore service efficiently.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including test results and network configurations.

Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while working, especially in potentially hazardous conditions like heights or confined spaces.
