PCB technician

Job Purpose:

To assemble, inspect, test, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in EV charger systems, ensuring quality and functionality as per company standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering, component mounting, and PCB assembly as per circuit design.

• Conduct visual inspection and quality testing of PCBs to detect defects or faults.

• Work with engineers to support prototype development and new PCB designs.

• Troubleshoot and repair defective boards or components.

• Maintain ESD safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of electronic components.

• Use testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.

• Ensure proper documentation of test results and repair logs.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in PCB manufacturing and testing.

• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in PCB assembly, testing, and repair (preferably in EV or electronics manufacturing).

• Knowledge of SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.

• Understanding of circuit diagrams and electronic components.

• Familiarity with IPC standards will be an advantage.
