We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Stores Manager to oversee the efficient management of inventory, materials, and warehouse operations for our EV chargers manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storekeeping or warehouse management in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the electrical, electronics, or EV industry.
Inventory Management
Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
Ensure accurate real-time stock tracking using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
Material Handling & Storage
Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
Ensure proper identification, tagging, and binning of components (electrical, mechanical, electronic parts).
Ensure materials are stored safely, efficiently, and in line with 5S and EHS practices.
Material Issuance
Coordinate timely issuance of materials to production as per BOM and production plans.
Ensure strict FIFO (First In First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry First Out) policy adherence.
Warehouse Operations
Monitor and improve daily warehouse operations including loading/unloading, dispatches, packaging, and logistics coordination.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse as per safety and audit standards.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
Prepare and share reports on stock levels, slow/non-moving inventory, and material discrepancies.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure documentation of all inward and outward materials with appropriate GRN, DC, invoices, and gate passes.
Comply with statutory and ISO/IATF quality and audit requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2-6 years of experience in store or warehouse management in a manufacturing industry, preferably EV, automotive, or electronics.
Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Tally, etc.)
Knowledge of electrical/mechanical components, fasteners, PCBs, cables, etc.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Good understanding of Lean practices, 5S, EHS, and material handling norms.
Familiar with logistics, dispatch documentation, and GST invoicing.
Exposure to ISO/IATF 16949 systems
Experience in setting up warehouse systems or transitioning to ERP-based inventory tracking
