Production Engineer

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our team . The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹30000 - ₹33000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ·  Develop and implement detailed production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and current inventory levels to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing.

2. ·  Analyze sales forecasts and customer orders to plan production batches, aligning raw material availability and production capacity.

3. · Monitor and control inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.

4. · Coordinate with procurement to plan timely purchase of raw materials based on production requirements and demand forecasts.

5. ·   Oversee the flow of materials and finished products in the warehouse, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.

6. · Optimize machine and labor productivity by scheduling production runs to avoid overuse or idle time of resources.

7. ·  Identify and resolve production-related issues by liaising with production, quality control, procurement, and sales teams to prevent disruptions.

8. ·  Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets while maintaining flexibility for changes in demand.

9. · Prepare regular reports on production status, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy for management review.

10. · Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve inventory turnover.

11. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production planning and inventory control processes

.Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree

2. Proven experience in production planning and inventory control, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing industries.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production and inventory data.

4. Proficiency in ERP or production planning software tools.

5.  Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate across departments and with suppliers.

6.  Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
