Relationship Manager – Life Insurance (Vadodara)
Drive business growth: achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for life-insurance products (new business, premium growth, case count, etc.).
Build & maintain relationships with channel partners (bank branches, bancassurance partners, agencies, IFAs) and intermediaries to maximise revenue.
Onboard new distribution partners / agents, support their training and productivity, ensure activation and performance norms are met.
Conduct joint field calls / branch visits with partners to support closing business, enhance share of wallet, improve product mix, and ensure renewals / persistency.
Generate and follow up on leads (referrals, own network, partner leads) to secure new customers for life-insurance products.
Conduct need-analysis for prospects, present life-insurance solutions effectively (features, benefits, suitability), handle objections and close business.
Monitor and improve customer service/after-sales (renewals, complaints, client engagement) to ensure high customer satisfaction and persistency.
Gather market intelligence: competitor activity, local market trends, client preferences; feed insights to area/branch head.
Maintain accurate documentation (proposals, policy issuance, KYC/compliance), and ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies.
Graduate / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is typically required.
Ideally 1-5 years of experience in life-insurance sales, bancassurance, or financial services channel. (Roles with 2-4 years are common in Vadodara-region postings)
Good communication skills in English and local language (Gujarati/Hindi) are preferred. Knowledge of local market is a plus.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, field‐active, able to work with minimal supervision and travel locally.
Strong relationship & interpersonal skills, negotiation capability, ability to train and influence agents/partners.
Deep understanding of life-insurance products, persistency, premium growth, case conversion.
Channel management: able to manage and develop agent/advisor network, bancassurance partners.
