The Commi role involves assisting in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. Based on experience and skill, candidates will be designated as Commi I, Commi II, or Commi III.
Assist in preparing and cooking menu items under the guidance of senior chefs.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.
Support daily operations including chopping, marination, mise-en-place, and plating.
Follow SOPs and recipes to maintain consistency in food quality.
Assist in stock rotation and inventory checks.
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
1–4 years of experience in F&B / Hotel / Restaurant kitchens.
Knowledge of Indian, Continental, or Café-style cuisine preferred.
Strong interest in cooking and food presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts is an advantage but not mandatory.
Passionate, disciplined, and willing to learn.
