Job Description – Accountant (Real Estate & Temple Trust Accounts)

1. Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and trustworthy Accountant to manage all financial transactions related to the Brij Shanti Kunj Project and Shri Chitragupt Peeth. This includes donation accounts, property sale transactions, vendor payments, payroll, and statutory compliance (GST/TDS).

2. Key Responsibilities

• Donations & Trust Accounts: Maintain accurate records of donations and contributions received for the trust/temple.

• Project Accounting: Manage property sales transactions, booking amounts, and installment schedules for Brij Shanti Kunj Project.

• Vendor & Contractor Payments: Record and reconcile payments to construction contractors, material suppliers, and labor.

• Banking Operations: Handle all cash & bank transactions including cheques, NEFT, and RTGS.

• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns, as well as compliance for trust and society regulations.

• MIS Reports: Prepare and present monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports for management.

• Audit Support: Maintain complete documentation for internal and external audits.

• Payroll Management: Manage staff and worker payroll, including salary sheets and statutory deductions (PF/ESI).

3. Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar).

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and trust/NGO accounting.

• Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reporting).

• Attention to detail, transparency, and ability to deliver timely reports.

• Prior experience in real estate and trust accounting will be an added advantage.

4. Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com (Accounting/Finance).

• CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.

• Prior experience with trust accounting and real estate sector desirable.

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience.

• Background in real estate projects or trust/NGO accounts preferred.

6. Work Environment

• Office-based role at Vrindavan – Govardhan Road Project Site.

• Direct reporting to Project Head & Trust Committee.

• Regular coordination with Sales Team, Site Management, and Vendors.
