IT Hardware Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and supporting desktop environments with a focus on ManageEngine, Sophos Firewall, and Sophos Endpoint solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• ManageEngine Administration:

• Monitor and manage desktop support tickets using ManageEngine.

• Configure and maintain ManageEngine for optimal performance.

• Generate and review reports to identify and resolve recurring issues.

• Sophos Firewall and Endpoint Management:

• Administer and configure Sophos Firewall to ensure network security.

• Manage and update Sophos Endpoint protection on user devices.

• Monitor and respond to alerts from Sophos security solutions.

• Day-to-Day Troubleshooting:

• Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.

• Perform routine maintenance and updates to keep systems running efficiently.

• User Support:

• Assist end-users with technical issues via email, phone, and in-person.

• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.

• Provide training and guidance to users on IT policies and procedures.

• Collaboration and Reporting:

• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to address and resolve technical problems.

• Prepare and deliver regular reports on system performance, incident resolution, and user support.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

• Proven experience with ManageEngine desktop support and ticket management.

• Good knowledge of Sophos Firewall and Sophos Endpoint solutions.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

• It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
