About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef (Continental Cuisine) to join our culinary team at Box Bites Café. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in continental food preparation and maintain high standards of hygiene, quality, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking continental dishes such as pasta, salads, grills, sandwiches, burgers, sauces, etc.

• Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations

• Follow recipe standards and portion control guidelines

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are consistently met

• Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow FSSAI & safety guidelines

• Assist with inventory & storage of food materials

• Ensure proper usage & cleaning of kitchen equipment

• Work as part of a team during peak café hours

Requirements

• Experience in continental / café / casual dining kitchen preferred

• Basic knowledge of sauces, salads, grills & continental cooking

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong hygiene practices & discipline

• Flexible to work in shifts

• Hotel Management / Culinary certification preferred (not mandatory)
