The Data Operator – Construction Site is responsible for accurate entry, maintenance, and reporting of site-related data including manpower attendance, material consumption, billing records, and daily progress reports (DPR). The role supports smooth project execution by ensuring reliable and timely data availability.
Enter daily site data such as manpower attendance, labor deployment, and overtime
Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) in prescribed formats
Update material inward, consumption, and stock registers
Record subcontractor and vendor data
Assist in preparation of RA Bills, BOQ data, and measurement sheets
Update quantities executed as per drawings and instructions
Maintain billing trackers and reconciliation statements
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Store, Planning, HR, and Accounts teams
Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports for management
Share timely and accurate data for audits and reviews
Maintain proper filing of work orders, delivery challans, invoices, muster rolls, and site registers
Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory site documentation (attendance, wages data, etc.)
Maintain confidentiality of project and employee information
Verify source documents before data entry
Ensure zero duplication and minimal errors in reports
Take regular backups of site data
Graduate / Diploma / 12th Pass with computer knowledge
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP preferred)
Basic knowledge of ERP / construction management software (preferred)
Good typing speed with accuracy
High attention to detail
Ability to work under site pressure and tight deadlines
Good coordination and communication skills
Discipline and adherence to site protocols
1–3 years experience as Data Operator / Site MIS / Site Coordinator
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects preferred
Site-based role
May require extended working hours during billing cycles and month-end closing
