🔶 Position Summary
The Project Manager will lead end-to-end planning, design, execution, and commissioning of warehouse infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating with civil, racking, MHE, IT, and compliance teams to deliver fully operational warehouses within timeline, budget, and quality standards.

🔶 Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
Create overall project schedule, milestones, and budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams: civil, electrical, racking, MHE, fire safety, IT/WMS, security.
Ensure availability of utilities, permits, and compliances before project start.
2. Warehouse Layout & Design
Review and finalize 2D/3D warehouse layouts.
Plan receiving, putaway, storage, staging, packing, QC, dispatch areas.
Optimize workflow for productivity and safety.
3. Vendor & Procurement Management
Prepare BOQ for racking, MHE, IT systems, furniture, lighting, and safety equipment.
Manage vendor evaluation, negotiation and selection.
Track purchase orders, deliveries, and installation progress.
4. Racking & MHE Implementation
Oversee installation of pallet racking, shelving, mezzanine systems.
Plan selection and deployment of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks.
Ensure compliance with installation standards and load certifications.
5. IT & Automation Deployment
Coordinate WMS setup, barcoding, RFID, handheld scanners.
Oversee CCTV, access control, fire alarms, PA systems.
Support automation projects like conveyor lines, PTL, ASRS (if applicable).
6. Compliance, Safety & Quality
Ensure adherence to fire norms (FM Global/NBC), EHS standards, local laws.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, SOP implementation.
Resolve snags and ensure quality handover of each area.
7. Stakeholder Management
Provide weekly project reports to senior leadership.
Conduct site review meetings with vendors and internal teams.
Manage change requests, risk mitigation, and client expectations.
8. Go-Live & Handover
Conduct mock runs with operations team.
Ensure readiness of inbound, storage, and dispatch workflows.
Prepare documentation for final handover and post-go-live support.
🔶 Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of warehouse design, storage systems, and material flow
Experience in racking systems (Selective, Drive-In, VNA, Mezzanine)
Understanding of MHE & warehouse automation
WMS knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Infor, or any standard WMS)
Vendor & contractor management
Budgeting, costing, BOQ handling
MS Project / Primavera / Excel / AutoCAD (preferred)
Problem-solving & leadership abilities
🔶 Qualification & Experience
Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Experience: 5–12 years in warehousing, logistics, or infrastructure project management
Experience in 3PL / E-commerce / FMCG warehouse setup is a strong advantage.
🔶 Salary Range

₹8 – ₹12 LPA depending on experience & project exposure.
