Warehouse Executive

• A warehouse executive manages daily warehouse operations, focusing on inventory accuracy, efficient material handling, team supervision, and compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing receiving and dispatch, maintaining stock records, coordinating with stakeholders, implementing best practices, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and property.
• Core Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receiving, storing, and distributing of goods; manage loading and unloading processes; organize storage areas for efficient space utilization.
• Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and guide warehouse staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to procedures and productivity targets.
• Logistics Coordination: Liaise with shipping companies, transport teams, and other stakeholders to manage inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery schedules.
• Safety and Security: Enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and compliant working environment, ensuring the well-being of staff and the security of the facility and inventory.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), maintain meticulous records of incoming and outgoing materials, and generate reports on warehouse performance, activities, and inventory levels.
• Key Skills & Qualifications
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office, with knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
