Picking

Locating and Retrieving: Using order forms or electronic scanners, they find the correct products in the warehouse inventory.

Checking Accuracy: They verify the item, quantity, color, size, etc., to ensure the order is correct.

Quality Control: They inspect items for any damage or defects before they are moved to the packing station.

2. Packing

Secure Packaging: They select the appropriate box or container and use packaging materials (cushioning, wrapping) to protect the items from damage during transit.

Labeling: They seal the packages and affix labels with the shipping information, tracking numbers, and other details.

Documentation & System Update: They often update the inventory or order fulfillment system to mark the order as fulfilled and ready for dispatch.
