Quality Manager – Defence & Civil Aviation background must

Job description

As a Quality Manager, you will play a foundational role in setting up, implementing, and strengthening the end-to-end quality ecosystem for our aerospace and defense projects. You will be directly responsible for quality assurance, compliance, audits, and vendor quality to ensure our products meet the highest aviation and defense standards.

Key Responsibilities-

• Set up, maintain, and improve quality management systems aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, AQAP, and DGQA—laying a strong foundation for long-term excellence.

• Make sure our processes and documentation meet the high expectations of defence and civil aviation authorities like DGCA, DRDO, MoD, HAL, and IAF.

• Lead internal audits and confidently face external & customer audits.

• Take charge of root cause analysis and CAPA, when things go wrong, you’ll find out why and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

• Monitor and control in-house and vendor quality for parts, sub-systems, and assemblies. If something flies (literally or metaphorically), it should be flawless.

• Work closely with quality inspectors, OEMs, PSUs, and DGQA officials during inspections, trials, and approvals.

• Create and maintain inspection plans, SOPs, checklists, and ensure traceability and documentation as per industry norms.

• Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering teams to embed quality at every stage of our build process.

• Encourage a culture of ownership, 5S, continuous improvement, and attention to detail across teams.
