Import Freight Forwarding Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (BL), commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.

• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure timely and accurate documentation.

• Maintain organized records of shipments and documentation (both digital and hard copies).

• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, INCOTERMS, and client-specific requirements.

• Communicate with internal teams (operations, finance, and sales) for document verification and updates.

• Monitor shipment progress and provide regular documentation updates to clients.

• Support in filing documents for customs clearance and liaising with government authorities if required.

• Handle post-shipment documentation and track status for closures.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in documentation within the shipping/logistics/freight forwarding industry.

• Familiarity with export-import documentation and procedures.
