Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos for social media, ads, webinars, and YouTube.

• Add transitions, effects, sound design, music, voiceovers, and motion graphics where needed.

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to bring storyboards and scripts to life.

• Create eye-catching video content that drives engagement and conversions.

• Ensure brand consistency and storytelling flow in all video outputs.

• Manage and organize footage, backups, and project files.

• Optimize video formats and lengths for different platforms (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, Ads).

• Stay up to date with the latest video trends, editing tools, and social media algorithms.

• Maintain a smooth shoot-to-edit workflow and assist in planning or directing shoots when needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (2+ years preferred).

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and color grading.

• Knowledge of motion graphics, text animations, and cinematic transitions.

• Ability to edit educational, promotional, and social media content with a creative edge.

• Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and attention to audio-video synchronization.

• Basic knowledge of camera handling, shoot setups, and professional shoot etiquette is a plus.

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in finance, trading, or education-based video content.

• Ability to design short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and ad campaigns.

• Knowledge of storyboarding and visual direction.

• Familiarity with AI-based editing tools and plugins for speed and efficiency.
