We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling, news presentation, and creating visually appealing videos that engage our digital audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality news videos.

• Add graphics, text overlays, background music, and transitions.

• Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and the content team to understand story requirements.

• Ensure accuracy, tone, and visual consistency in all videos.

• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and digital media formats.

• Optimize videos for various digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Film Editing, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a news or digital media organization.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software.

• Basic knowledge of sound design and color correction.

• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
