Activity Teacher (Pre-School)

Job Purpose

To plan, organize, and conduct engaging activities that promote the physical, creative, social, and emotional development of preschool children in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily activity sessions (art & craft, music, dance, storytelling, indoor/outdoor games, role play, etc.).

• Use play-based methods to develop children’s motor skills, creativity, and imagination.

• Ensure that activities are age-appropriate, safe, and aligned with the preschool curriculum.

• Encourage participation, confidence, and teamwork among children.

• Maintain discipline and manage group activities effectively.

• Collaborate with class teachers to integrate activities with learning goals.

• Monitor and record children’s participation and progress in activities.

• Prepare and manage activity-related materials, props, and equipment.

• Engage parents by showcasing children’s work through events, exhibitions, or performances.

• Ensure safety and hygiene standards are always maintained.

• May require participation in school events, annual functions, and parent meetings.
