We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive experienced in handling the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal for IT products and services. The role involves managing end-to-end sales activities, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth through government tenders and procurement.
Manage and operate the GeM portal for product listings, catalog management, bidding, and order processing.
Identify, track, and participate in relevant government tenders for IT products (laptops, servers, networking, peripherals, etc.).
Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, PSUs, and procurement officers.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for pricing, quotations, and bid submissions.
Ensure timely follow-ups on quotations, orders, and payments.
Maintain records of sales activities, tenders, and customer interactions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through GeM and other government business channels.
Graduate in any discipline; preference for BBA / MBA / IT / Commerce background.
Proven experience (minimum 6 months) in GeM portal operations and government sales.
Knowledge of IT products (hardware, software, networking, peripherals).
Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and GeM platform operations.
