We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Business Development Executive who has hands-on experience selling SaaS products, especially CRM, Lead Management, Marketing Automation, or Sales Automation solutions.
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating qualified opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, managing the sales pipeline, and closing new business. The ideal candidate should understand consultative selling, SaaS sales cycles, and the challenges businesses face in managing leads and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and target SMEs, startups, agencies, enterprises, and service-based businesses.
Generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Customer Engagement
Understand customer pain points and business requirements.
Conduct discovery calls to qualify opportunities.
Present customized product demonstrations.
Position the CRM platform as a business growth solution rather than just software.
Sales Process Management
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
Handle objections effectively and negotiate commercial terms.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with prospects and customers.
Coordinate with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth onboarding.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
CRM Management
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, meetings, and customer interactions.
Ensure proper follow-up schedules and opportunity tracking.
Maintain data hygiene and reporting within the CRM.
Market Intelligence
Track competitor offerings and pricing.
Stay updated on industry trends, SaaS innovations, and customer buying behavior.
Share market feedback with product and marketing teams.
Required Skills
Must Have
2–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
Experience selling CRM, Lead Management, Marketing Automation, Sales Automation, HRMS, ERP, or similar cloud-based software.
Strong understanding of the SaaS sales lifecycle.
Excellent consultative selling and solution-selling skills.
Experience in conducting online product demonstrations.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve revenue targets.
