We are hiring a Business Development Manager for our field sales team in Punjab. The ideal candidate will have experience in the education or EdTech sector and will be responsible for generating leads, visiting schools, colleges, coaching centers, and other educational institutions, and closing sales for our products or services. This is a field-intensive role requiring frequent travel across assigned territories.
Visit schools, colleges, coaching centers, and educational institutions to promote company offerings (e.g., online courses, test prep tools, software, skill programs).
Generate new leads through field visits, references, and local networking.
Schedule and conduct meetings or demos with decision-makers (principals, directors, teachers).
Explain product benefits, handle objections, and close deals.
Achieve monthly sales targets and report performance to the sales manager.
Maintain regular follow-up with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Submit daily reports, field activity logs, and market feedback.
Assist in organizing local seminars, workshops, or student engagement events.
1–2 years of experience in field sales/business development (preferably in education/EdTech)
Good communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in local language (Punjabi) and Hindi/English
Target-driven with a go-getter attitude
Basic computer and smartphone usage skills
Must own a two-wheeler and a valid driving license
Willingness to travel extensively within Punjab
Graduate in any discipline (Education/Marketing background preferred)
MBA/ B.Ed (optional but preferred)
Fixed Salary: ₹25,000/month
