Job Description

KRA – Sales Manager (Air Export – Freight Forwarding)

  1. Business Development & Revenue Generation

Ø  Identify and target potential clients for air export services through cold calls, client visits, and networking.

Ø  Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall branch revenue.

Ø  Develop customized solutions to meet client needs and ensure competitive pricing strategy.

  1. Client Relationship Management

Ø  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and long-term association.

Ø  Address customer concerns, service issues, and provide timely resolution to maintain client satisfaction.

Ø  Conduct regular review meetings with major clients.

  1. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

Ø  Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities.

Ø  Share actionable insights with internal teams to refine offerings and stay ahead in the market.

Ø  Recommend pricing and service changes based on market conditions.

  1. Coordination with Operations & Internal Teams

Ø  Work closely with the operations, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.

Ø  Ensure all client requirements are communicated and met within committed timelines.

Ø  Align sales commitments with operational capabilities.

  1. Reporting & Performance Tracking

Ø  Maintain accurate sales records, client interactions, and pipeline updates in CRM tools.

Ø  Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the management.

Ø  Track KPIs like inquiry-to-conversion ratio, gross margins, and customer
