Counsellor

Job Summary

UPGRAD is hiring an experienced L-2 Counsellor to guide and support learners pursuing international education opportunities. The role requires strong counselling abilities, communication skills, and prior experience in study abroad programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on global education programs and university options

• Guide learners through the admission and application process

• Maintain consistent communication with students and ensure conversion goals are met

• Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate information and seamless support

• Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and student progress

• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets in alignment with business objectives

Key Skills Required

• 1–2 years of experience (EdTech background preferred)

• Mandatory experience in Study Abroad  counselling

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong counselling and sales conversion capabilities

• Ability to handle multiple student profiles efficiently

• Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications

• It is a Full Time Sales / Business Development job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
