Welder

About the Role

We are a product-based manufacturing company specializing in industrial air coolers, exhaust systems, ventilation units, ducting, and air circulation equipment. We are looking for a skilled welder to handle fabrication and welding of metal structures, cooler bodies, duct frames, and ventilation components as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Welding & Fabrication of Industrial Equipment

• Perform MIG/Arc welding on sheet metal, MS frames, and structural components

• Weld cooler bodies, ventilation frames, exhaust housings, and support structures

• Ensure strong, clean, and accurate welding as per production standards

2. Cooler Body & Product Structure Fabrication

• Fabricate metal structures of industrial coolers and ventilation units

• Weld panels, brackets, stands, and structural frames used in product assembly

• Support production team in structural alignment and fitting

3. Ducting, Boxing & Ventilation Component Welding

• Fabricate and weld duct boxes, air ducts, and ventilation frames

• Assist in duct boxing, fitting, and structural preparation

• Ensure proper shaping, sealing, and structural strength of duct systems

4. Measurement & Layout Reading

• Read basic fabrication drawings, layouts, and measurement specifications

• Cut, shape, and weld materials according to design and dimensions

• Maintain dimensional accuracy during fabrication process

5. Machine & Tool Operation

• Operate welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment

• Perform basic maintenance of welding tools and machines

• Ensure safe handling of fabrication equipment

6. Assembly & Production Support

• Coordinate with assembly and electrical teams during product manufacturing

• Support structural assembly of coolers, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems

• Assist in prototype and custom product fabrication when required

7. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Inspect weld joints for strength, finishing, and durability

• Follow factory safety standards, PPE usage, and welding safety norms

• Maintain a clean and organized fabrication workspace

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI Welder / Technical Certification (Preferred)

• Hands-on experience in MIG, Arc, or TIG welding

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and industrial product welding

• Basic understanding of ducts, ventilation systems, or cooler fabrication (preferred)

• Ability to read basic drawings and measurements

• Knowledge of fabrication tools, grinders, and cutting machines

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6 months - 1 years of experience.
